Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens offers a wide variety of programs and workshops throughout the year. Make-It, Take-It Workshops are extremely popular and some classic favorites are on the Botanical Gardens’ schedule for this fall and holiday season.

First of the fall workshops will be the Succulent Dish Garden held on November 7 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Participants will design a unique succulent container garden while learning more about these exciting low-maintenance plants. Attendees will learn how succulents grow and how to propagate them. Each participant can add some creative touches to their arrangement from a variety of included supplies. Organizers ask that attendees bring gloves and a box for transporting their creation.  The cost for this workshop is $25 for the general public and $20 for Botanical Gardens’ members.

The popular Fresh Thanksgiving Arrangement Workshop returns this fall.  Two identical sessions will be offered on November 25 and 26 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. The cost for this workshop is $45 for the general public and $40 for Botanical Gardens’ members. Organizers would like to note that the Botanical Gardens will be closed November 25-28 to create some holiday magic inside the conservatory, so this class will be held in the Administration Building next to the Botanical Gardens on November 25 and 26.
