The Buffalo Niagara Art Association, a regional art group in existence since 1955, will turn the talents of its member artists to the beauties and splendors of nature in its Fall 2025 exhibition at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. Inspired by nature, exuberantly on display at the Botanical Gardens, as well as in the natural environment of Western New York, the artists seek to explore the essence and celebrate the vitality of nature.
Learn about the Buffalo Niagara Art Association!
The Buffalo Niagara Art Association (BNAA) is a community of artists and art supporters dedicated to promoting excellence in the visual arts throughout Western New York. Open to anyone over the age of 18, our group welcomes a diverse range of creatives, from emerging artists to seasoned professionals.
Originally founded in March 1955 as the Amherst Society of Creative Arts, our name changed in 2006 to better reflect the broader areas where our members live and work. Our artists explore a wide variety of styles, from photorealism to lyrical abstraction, bringing unique perspectives and skills to the group.
Many of our members have had their work featured in galleries, books, and magazines, and they regularly compete—and win—in regional and national juried competitions. In addition to creating, many also teach, give demonstrations, and share their expertise with the community. At BNAA, we believe in fostering creativity, supporting one another, and celebrating the impact of visual art. Whether you’re an artist or an art enthusiast, there’s a place for you here!
