Planned Giving

Planned giving helps you maximize the tax benefits of your charitable giving while allowing you to provide a gift that you may not have thought possible.  There are many ways to provide a contribution to the Botanical Gardens, but all planned gifts have one benefit in common – they encourage thoughtful financial planning and help people make a lasting investment at the Botanical Gardens.

Bequests are the simplest way to leave a gift to the Botanical Gardens.  A bequest can be an unrestricted gift that will allow us to apply the gift where the need is greatest.  A bequest can also be designated for a specific purpose.  If you are considering a restricted bequest, please contact us for an opportunity to discuss your ideas before you finalize your gift.

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is a member of Leave a Legacy Western New York, a program of The Western New York Planned Giving Consortium. Please visit Leave a Legacy Western New York to learn more about how you can become a partner in sustaining the Botanical Gardens for generations to come.
