This interactive exhibit encourages kids of all ages to play, learn, and discover the important connections between people, plants, and pollinators. Featuring imaginative play stations, hands-on activities, busy boards, and more, our indoor Playspace offers endless added fun to your trip to the Botanical Gardens.

The Playspace, presented by Wegmans, opened in March 2025 as a way for kids and their caretakers to teach kids about bees and pollinators from around the world through hands-on fun. With stations like ‘Flip and Find’, ‘Count the Critters’, and more, everyone will have the opportunity to move, play and learn! Our ‘Honey Hut’ market also provides a space for imaginative play where children can pretend to sell bee and honey products to see how pollinators play a role in peoples’ everyday lives.
