Art, Horticulture and Yoga at the Botanical Gardens
The Botanical Gardens is an inspiring place to learn about art, horticulture and wellness. Intermediate and Beginner Watercolor classes will be offered in several different sessions beginning February 27 and a certificate series, Horticulture VI will begin March 18. New this season, two sessions of Gentle Hatha Yoga and Gentle Power Flow Yoga will be offered beginning March 1. Adult watercolor classes are taught by professional artist Joan Saba as her talent is exceptional and her hands-on teaching style caters to all skill levels. An Orchid Show will Brighten the Botanical Gardens February 25-26
The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will be bursting with Orchids at their annual winter Orchid Show. The show will be held February 25 from 10am through 5pm and on February 26 from 10am through 3pm. Along with the Niagara Frontier Orchid Society, the Botanical Gardens will host this popular annual orchid showcase with dozens of hand-picked and award winning orchid exhibits. Winter Break and Beyond… Fun for Kids and Families at the Botanical Gardens
The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens offers many events for kids and families this winter break and into the spring. Kids Day on February 22 from 10am-2pm offers kids and families a chance to partake in fun activities throughout the Botanical Gardens during the day and Lumagination is a great winter escape running evenings through February 21. Wegmans Family Days offer programming for the whole family and new Kids’ Make-It, Take-It Workshops will be offered on March 19 and April 23. Two New Exhibits at the Botanical Gardens, an Aquatic Garden and an Asian Rainforest, Will Open January 14!
Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens Society, Inc. announced the opening of two new exhibits to the public. The greenhouses have been closed since April 2015 for complete structural renovations and to install entirely new exhibits, an Asian Rainforest and an Aquatic Garden. Lumagination 2017 Will Captivate Audiences at the Botanical Gardens!
Buffalo, NY - Lumagination is a captivating and interactive exhibit that will transform the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens with light, sound and imagination from January 25 through February 21.
